Let us put by some hour of every day for holy things...

I will not doubt, though all my ships at sea
Come drifting home with broken masts and sails.
I will believe the Hand which never fails,
From seeming evil, worketh good for me.
And though I weep because those sails are tattered,
Still will I cry, while my best hopes lie shattered:
I trust in Thee.
--Ann Kimmel

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines, the labor of the olive shall fail and the fields shall yield no meat, the flock shall be cut off from the fold and there shall be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Goodbye, November...Hello, Christmas

A Thanksgiving Memory
by Trumom Chipotle

My swan song, perhaps? (Turkey song?)  A lovely dinner, lots of company, but I think I'm ready to hand over the baton.  Or the drumstick.  My sister-in-law caught me here in a wild mood.

Guests this year included both the newest and oldest family members--my mother-in-law and new grandbaby, as well as sons, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, and her husband.

Now it's on to Christmas, and I've a half dozen projects underway at least, and it's driving me nuts not having enough time to pursue all of them. I shall give you a sneak peak at the latest brainstorm:
This is my CD "wrap" prototype and I think it's rather sweet, but I'm still working the bugs out.  I hope I can complete some in time to list them on the Red Letter Day Bags site for Christmas. (You steal my design and I'm coming after you with that turkey fork from photo 1!)
